Falcons Being Investigated For Fake Crowd Noise Into Stadium
Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Atlanta Falcons are being investigated for potentially piping in noise through the Georgia Dome PA system while the opposing teams were huddling over the past two seasons. If found to be true, they would likely be punished with a fine and the loss of a draft pick.
quote:

“We were informed during the season that the league office is looking into crowd noise during our games,” the spokesman said. “We have cooperated fully with them, and we’re awaiting the outcome.”

DD - Maybe if y'all weren't such a bunch of cheaters y'all could have went 2-14 at home instead of 6-10 ... which clearly would qualify as y'all having an advantage. You can still cheat and lose.

jptiger2009 - the investigation claims it's been happening for 2 years. So if true, it shouldn't have been louder this season than 2 years ago.

Also, the Falcons were 6-10 over the last 2 seasons at home. It clearly didn't give us a competitive advantage.

I thought the Georgia dome sounded much louder this past season on TV v/s previous seasons. Pathetic...
