He didn't have a pro bowl year. He threw critical interceptions at critical times in several games. Pro Bowl QBs don't do that.

Absolutely correct on the ints, has done this for several years now. Lions game was terrible. Need more wins to go along with the stats, he's still a good QB, but the Saints need to get some young blood fast waiting in the wing.

He wil still end up making it. One of those Quarterbacks will be going to the super bowl which will make them substitute the next person up to fill his pro bowl spot.

"he also has twice as many interceptions as Ryan and Rogers and 10 more than Dak". Exactly. The Saints twitter account cherry picked certain stats but left off other crucial ones, such as INTs. I think Brees deserved it but so did the other QBs and their teams are winning... sooo....

His qbr is better than AR and the same as DP, so that argument falls a little flat. Bottom line is they wanted DP in so Brees got the boot, probably because he has been to 9 pro bowls. It should have been AR.

I agree, there are games Brees is absolutely horrible,unfortunately when they lose its typically the defense, and brees with 2/3 ints. He looked real bad against the chiefs and lions.

Shameful. I guess your team can't be 6-8 and expect to make the Pro Bowl team. Aaron Rodgers Team 8-6 Dallas Cowboys team 12-2 Atlanta falcons team 9-5 Winning Records!!

He also has 158 more pass attempts than Dak. He's six percentage points ahead of Aaron Rodgers in terms of completion percentage, has a better QBR, and has nearly 800 more yards passing. Ryan has been phenomenal this season, but stop making it seem like Rodgers and Prescott are having better seasons than Brees.
