Here's Anthony Davis' Response To LeBron Saying It Would Be 'Amazing' To Play Together

On Tuesday, LeBron James said this about potentially playing on the same team as New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis...

"That would be amazing," James told ESPN on Tuesday before the Lakers' 115-110 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, referring to the Lakers landing Davis through a trade. "That would be amazing, like, duh. That would be incredible."

On Thursday, Davis responded to those comments with this, per ESPN...

“I don’t really care,” Davis told ESPN of James’ comments Wednesday night after the Pelicans’ 123-115 loss to the Bucks. “Obviously, it’s cool to hear any high-caliber player say they want to play with me. But my job is to turn this team around. If we’re 15-17, that means I’m not doing my job.”

Runt - I think it depends on which set of NBA rules are applied. With the candy arse rules today, no doubt the Warriors would probably win, but if you played under the 80s and early 90s rules when teams actually played defense, I would take any of teams those guys played on over the Warriors.
