The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Friday afternoon that guard Kyrie Irving will have season ending surgery. Per ESPN:
quote:Irving injured his knee during the Cav's game 1 loss to the Warriors in the NBA finals Thursday night. Game 2 of the series is Sunday night.
An MRI on Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving's ailing left knee revealed a fractured kneecap and he will undergo season-ending surgery, the team announced Friday.
