LSU's Sa’Myah Smith officially announced Thursday afternoon that she is entering the transfer portal.

The 6-2 redshirt sophomore from Texarkana, Texas, played in 36 games this season with 28 starts, averaging 6.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

She suffered a torn ACL seven games into her sophomore season in 2023-2024.

She is making a mistake. Next year she would have been a big time player for LSU. LSU needs centers.
