Miles and Michigan Reps are expected to meet on Tuesday

According to Detroit News, Les Miles will meet with representatives from Michigan on Tuesday in Dallas, after he speaks at the 2011 AFCA Convention. Miles is thought to be the front-runner for the Michigan opening.

Today, Miles will attend a press conference for Patrick Peterson, who is expected to declare his intention to enter the upcoming NFL draft. The announcement is set for 11 am CT.

Yesterday, Tiger fans tracked a Michigan plane that landed in Baton Rouge around 2:15 pm CT. This is the same plane that made a 2-hour stop in Baton Rouge on Friday. In Hoops news, the LSU Men's team defeated Auburn, 62-55, in the SEC opener for both teams on Saturday. LSU held Auburn to just six points in the first half. LSU improved to 9-7 on the season and returns to action on Wednesday to play Arkansas (11-3, 1-0) at the PMAC.
