LSU reached a first in Southeastern Conference history on Tuesday night when the Tigers men’s basketball team clinched at least a share of what is the school’s 10th league title in the sport.

By winning its 10th league title in men’s basketball, LSU is now the only school in SEC history to pull a "triple-double" – winning double-figure conference titles in the sports of football, men’s basketball and baseball.

In LSU Basketball news, the Men's team (24-4, 12-1) hits the court again on Saturday when they travel to Lexington to face Kentucky (19-9, 8-5). Tip-off in Rupp Arena is at 3pm CT. The game will be nationally televised by CBS. The Wildcats are led by Jodie Meeks, who leads the SEC in scoring with 25.4 PPG.

LSU can win the SEC title outright with a victory over Kentucky, or a loss by South Carolina (20-6, 9-4) to Vanderbilt.

The Tigers have three games remaining:
Feb. 28, at Kentucky, 3pm CT
Mar. 4, Vanderbilt, 7 pm CT
Mar. 7, at Auburn , Time TBA

LSU will begin play in the SEC tournament starting on Friday, March 13.
