A pivotal court hearing involving LSU, the SEC and the NCAA is underway Thursday in Baton Rouge.

East Baton Rouge Parish Judge William Jorden is considering whether to maintain an order preventing the NCAA and SEC from enforcing eligibility restrictions against former professional athletes seeking to return to college sports.

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey is in the courtroom, along with former NFL players Dae’Quan Wright and Zxavian Harris. The outcome could affect whether LSU can add former professional players to its 105-man roster ahead of Saturday’s season opener against Clemson.
