Per LSUsports.net: "LSU offensive coordinator Gary Crowton has resigned and will take a similar position at another school, head coach Les Miles confirmed on Thursday morning. Miles said that a search for Crowton's replacement will begin immediately."

I still think the major problem was the O-Line and the coaching or lack of coaching.I think Crowton will do well as long as he has a good O-Line and O-Line coach.Crowton's 1st year set records for the LSU offense.Lost O-Line coach Searles,Helms and Herman Johnson.In 2008&2009 LSU couldn't pick up a yd. on 3rd down and constantly went 3 & out.Look at how few drives we were able to sustain.In 2010 our running game was better and our O-Line because of Ben Wilkerson.Let's hope "Stud" leaves for Memphis.LSU's O-Line in 2008 &2009 was rated worse in SEC.

I'll predict that Crowton will have a lot more success offensively at Maryland (with a lot less talent) than he ever did at LSU. I believe Myles's influence of being overly conservative offensively is the blame. Don't be dubbed to think it was all Crowton.
