The LSU Baseball team, ranked No. 2 in the latest Baseball America poll, will host Grambling tonight at Alex Box Stadium. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 23-8. Grambling is 5-23. Freshman lefty Randy Zeigler will make his first career collegiate start versus Grambling.

Sophomore catcher Micah Gibbs was named SEC Player of the Week on Monday. For the week, Gibbs hit .385 with two homers, four RBI and four runs scored.

In LSU Basketball news, the Tigers were ranked No. 17 in the final Coaches poll released yesterday. LSU was the only ranked SEC team.
