Parkview Baptist shortstop and LSU Softball signee Nicky Dawson recently broke the national record for career triples by recording the 49th of her career.

Dawson already holds the career record in runs scored and needs 3 steals to be the national record holder for career steals. She is also the LHSAA DII 60 meter dash champion, according to Parkview Softball coach Ashlee Ducote-Weems.
