LSU is the latest school to offer four-star offensive guard Verdis Brown from Chicago, IL (Mount Carmel).


Brown, a 6-4, 295-pound prospect from Mount Carmel is rated the No. 8 offensive guard in the country and the No. 1 overall player from the state of Illinois, according to 247Sports.

LSU currently has three verbal commitments for the class of 2018 in ATH Kelvin Joseph from Baton Rouge, LA, QB Zadock Dinkelman from Somerset, TX, and CB Nadab Joseph from Miami, FL.
