Meh, its a scrimmage against players and coaches from youre team that know everything about you. Completely different than playing a team that doesnt see you everyday in practice and knows the little things that give them a big advantage. Hes also going up against some absolute studs every rep in practice/scrimmages. Our defensive line is extremely talented and deep. He will be fine.
