I think I was pumped more for 2023 WBB and Baseball than I was for all the Football NC. Probably not but it feels like it today.

Kim Mulkey and Jay Johnson will be on the Mount Rushmore of LSU coaches along with Skip Bertman and Charlie Mac. They will also be among the elite list of greatest coaches in their sport when their days at LSU are over.

Although I’m a big fan of McClendon he was only a good consistently winning coach while at LSU. He never could get over the hump & be in the rarefied air of Bryant, Parseghian, McKay/ Robinson , Devaney/Osborne & Royal of that time period.
