On Tuesday, former LSU All-American Marcus Spears was on campus and got a chance to visit with the freshmen on the LSU football team.

Marcus and McFarland are the "class acts" on the SEC Network and every minute they are in front of the camera the value and integrity of LSU as a national brand skyrockets. The SEC Network provides the players and coaches continuous national exposure, and revenue to improve the program. Justin Vincent as assistant director of player personnel is a tremendous mentor and role model and his bringing in other former greats who are huge successes in life is uplifting just to watch. Those Freshmen were awed and inspired.
