Here is what ESPN writer Edward Aschoff had to say about the quarterback situation at LSU in his latest "SEC QB Battles In Week 3" article from Monday:

LSU:
He isn't flashy, but it might not matter: Coach Les Miles isn't getting away from his workhorse in Leonard Fournette, so maybe Brandon Harris won't have to do much with his arm. Harris has yet to hit 75 passing yards in a game this season, but he's completing 67.7 percent of his passes, he can make plenty of plays with his feet, his team is 2-0 and the Tigers are averaging 338.5 rushing yards per game. Harris is just being a game manager at this point.

Zone read offense does not need a guy who can throw for 200 yards a game.

It needs a guy like Brandon Harris, who can threaten the defense with his feet or know when to switch it up and let Leonard do work.
