LSU starting defensive end Rashard Lawrence was absent during Tuesday practice after participating in Monday's session.

Missing for the second day in a row on Tuesday was offensive tackles Toby Weathersby and KJ Malone. Freshmen Saahdiq Charles and Austin Deculus ran with the first-team in place of Weathersby and Malone.

Center Will Clapp returned Tuesday after missing practice on Monday. Sophomore offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell was also present on Tuesday.

Practicing in gold non-contact jerseys was linebacker Corey Thompson, safety John Battle, and f-back JD Moore.
