Texas Tech will be without four football players, including top wide receiver Devin Lauderdale, for the Texas Bowl against LSU on Dec. 29.

Lauderdale's suspension stems from “a failure to uphold Texas Tech Athletic Department Student-Athlete Expectations," according to head coach Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury.

He has recorded 43 catches for 639 yards and four touchdowns this season. True freshman Tony Brown, who has 13 catches for 245 yards and a touchdown this season, is the most likely candidate to replace Lauderdale.

Texas Tech defensive end Mike Mitchell and safeties Derrick Dixon and Jalen Barne, will be transferring according to multiple reports. All three players are sophomore.
