LSU will be without star cornerback Eli Ricks for most of Spring Practice as he deals with an injury, Ed Orgeron revealed on Tuesday.

Ricks, a former five-star prospect from Santa Ana, Calif., started in seven games as a true freshman last season and recorded four interceptions, returning two of them for touchdowns.

Orgeron is hopeful that Ricks could return towards the end of spring practice.
