Stanford grad transfer defensive back Terrence Alexander is working out at all three positions in LSU's secondary, according to head coach Ed Orgeron.

Here's what Orgeron had to say about Alexander on Wednesday during the SEC Coaches Teleconference:
quote:

"Alexander is working at cornerback, nickel, and a little at safety," Orgeron said. "He's very smart, very mature and can handle different roles in our defenses. He is going to be valuable for us this season."

alot of transfers contributing this year...Im curious as to why this is. hopefully its the result of quality recruiting and not due to lack of our current coaches ability to develop our lsu vets.

Glad he's playing for LSU and not Stanford this season. Good luck to him.
