Earlier this week it was reported that former LSU quarterback Marcus Randall has been hired to be the next football coach Southern Lab in Baton Rouge.

On Wednesday, Randall was officially introduced as head coach:


The Advocate reported that Randall was one of three finalists for the job.

Randall was one of three finalists for the position along with Central defensive coordinator Ken Hilton and Episcopal defensive coordinator Jimmy Williams.

Randall played quarterback at LSU and Glen Oaks High School. At LSU he was a part of the "Bluegrass Miracle" play.
Randall has served as the offensive coordinator at Scotlandville Magnet High in Baton Rouge since 2012.
