The Ole Miss coaching staff reportedly isn't buying Sam Leavitt's doubtful status ahead of Saturday's matchup against LSU.

ESPN's Pete Thamel reported Thursday that no one on the Ole Miss staff is convinced Leavitt's appearance as “doubtful” on LSU's injury report is sincere or that he will miss Saturday's game.

Leavitt was surprisingly listed as doubtful on the SEC's initial availability report Wednesday night.

The LSU quarterback is reportedly dealing with an injury and was limited in practice earlier this week.

However, Leavitt returned to practice Thursday and participated during the media viewing portion of the session.

LSU and Ole Miss will release an updated availability report Thursday night.

Sam will play even if he has a boo boo. And he'll pick up 100 on the ground and throw for 300
