Six LSU players were named to the 158-player watch list for the Rotary Lombardi Award, which was announced on Thursday.

The award is presented "to the player that demonstrates outstanding performance and skill in offensive or defensive positions and best exemplify the discipline, virtue and wisdom that defined Vincent Lombardi's exceptional brand of leadership.

The six players that made the watch list were Leonard Fournette, Ethan Pocic, Davon Godchaux, Arden Key, Lewis Neal and Kendell Beckwith.

"to the player that demonstrates outstanding performance and skill in offensive or defensive positions and best exemplify the discipline, virtue and wisdom" If this award committee actually follows their own criteria (unlike the Heisman), LF should be a lock for this. His is synonymous with discipline and virtue.
