LSU senior tight end Dillon Gordon has applied for a medical redshirt, according to head coach Les Miles.

Gordon played in LSU's opener against Mississippi State but left the Tigers' second game of the season against Auburn with a left achilles tendon injury.

He re-injured the same achilles we he returned for LSU's 35-28 victory against Florida on Oct. 17.

Well we had two on the roster. Not two that traveled, or two upperclassmen, but two total. Injuries killed us. Foster Moreau did admirably for a youngster
