Despite many NFL sources saying that LSU offensive tackle La'el Collins will not be drafted because of his connection to an ex-girlfriend that was murdered last week, Saints head coach Sean Payton believes that Collins will be drafted.

Per NBC Sports:

But here’s the thing. A straw poll conducted this morning of a handful of coaches, General Managers, and other team executives resulted in a unanimous belief that Collins still won’t be drafted. At all.

While that was the consensus during an off-the-record discussion, Saints coach Sean Payton said during a Friday visit to PFT Live on NBC Sports Radio that he believe Collins will be drafted — tonight, in round two or round three.

Like I said, if SP says it before the draft it is 100% a lie.

Sean hates LSU. He passed on Eric Reid, Jeremy Hill and countless others. No Tigers on his roster since Devery Henderson. That's why the Saints suck.

That's almost a guarantee that NO won't draft him.
