Two projected LSU starters, left tackle Saahdiq Charles and nose guard Ed Alexander, returned to practice on Tuesday for the first time this Spring. Per The Advocate:
quote:

Charles and Alexander had missed the first 12 practices of LSU's 14-practice spring. Their return came on Practice No. 13, the final full-padded day of drills. The Tigers are scheduled for a padless practice Thursday before the spring game in Tiger Stadium.

Charles underwent shoulder surgery in January and spent the last few weeks completing his recovery. Alexander's issue is unclear. Charles wore a gold jersey during Tuesday's drills, signifying limited contact because of injury. Alexander practiced without a gold jersey.

I'm excited for Damien Lewis to start at guard. I always thought that Brumfield was an undersized guard in the SEC.
