Jean Francois will reunite with Detriot head coach Matt Patricia who was his defensive coordinator with the New England Patriots last season.

Jean Francois, a native of Miami, FL played at LSU from 2005-2008 and earned defensive MVP honors in the BCS National Championship Game against Ohio State. He selected in the 7th round of 2009 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
