December 7, 20218 Comments

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
Brody Miller with The Athletic is reporting that LSU special team coordinator Greg McMahon is retiring after 40 years in coaching.
McMahon was hired by Ed Orgeron in 2017 as a special teams consultant and took over the coordinator position from 2018-2021. During his time at LSU, he was able to land Cole Tracy and Cade York and coached standouts, Zach Von Rosenberg and Avery Atkins.
Prior to his time in Baton Rouge, the 61-yeard old coach was with the New Orleans Saints for 10 years and was the special team coordinator for eight of those seasons.
