Report: LSU OT Tyree Adams Could Be Out Multiple Games

LSU starting offensive tackle Tyree Adams could miss mutliple games after suffering an ankle injury vs. Vanderbilt.

Adams came out the game last week was replaced by DJ Chester. Chester, Carius Curne, and Ory Williams are likely to be the next guys up while Adams is out.

LSU plays Texas A&M at Tiger Stadium this weekend and then will have a bye week before traveling to Alabama on Nov. 8.

Head coach Brian Kelly will likely have an update on Adams status when he meets with the media on Monday afternoon.

The Weston Davis experiment has run its course. He's not there yet after 7 games and his pass blocking has gotten worse the past few games. He'll be ready to go again next year, but we are in must-win type situations and we don't need a proven liability at OT. Thompson played OT at NW, so he has some experience there and has to be better than using Chester playing out of position. Put your more experienced guy out at the 2md most important position (LT) and let Chester play his natural position at one of the guard spots.

These guys were getting better each week and removing the ball well against Vandy before the injury. Hopefully the next guy’s getting more reps and practice will perform better than they did in the second half.

Hate to see the kid hurt, but I really don’t think there is much that can happen along the Oline that can make it any worse that it is.

Could it look any worse? I really don't think it can. Hate to see anyone injured but I cant image this hurting the offense. We already cant score 25 points a game.
