Brooks Kubena with The Advocate is reporting that LSU is expected to hire McNeese State tight ends coach Derek Shay.

Shay will be a graduate assistant focusing on the tight end position after former tight end coach John DeCoster left for a job at Old Dominion.

Yeah he is going to make a lot less to prepare to get a job making 300-400k. Fair trade IMO

We are basically getting an extra coach doing this. Pretty smart imo. Sucks that he doesn’t get paid lol hopefully he can keep his grades up.
