LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond has agreed to a new multi-year contract that includes a raise, according to The Advocate:

Raymond had two more years left on his current contract and was being paid $375,000 per season.

Raymond, currently under a contract paying him $375,000 a year, will make $400,000 in 2017, $425,000 in 2018 and $450,000 in 2019. The new deal is a two-year extension under his previous contract.

Raymond agreed to the deal Monday, securing the former LSU defensive back's place on new coach Ed Orgeron's staff. Raymond is receiving a raise and extension for a third straight year. He signed a new contract last fall extending him through the 2017 season.
Raymond, a native of New Iberia, played at LSU from 1987-91 and also played six season in the NFL. He has coached and recruited defensive backs at LSU since 2012.

Absolutely! How in the hell is Raymond the lowest paid coach on staff? Coach of DBU? Recruiter of 4 and 5 star db's? Another great move by O to lock him down! Pay your coaches well, and stand back and let em coach. Excellent philosophy! This thing is getting better all the time! Congrats Coach Raymond!

Now if he can teach his DBU kids how to look for the ball in flight instead of waiting for the receivers to catch it first

Comments such as Sweet Daddy's make our fan base look ignorant and unappreciative. Should be an automatic ban to post negativity like this on the main stories.

He's the best db coach in the game and one hell of a recruiter. Think before you post ignorant shite.
