Don't wish the Chief success as he is going to an SEC West rival. I certainly won't miss our third down defense.

I don't blame him for chasing after the money but I don't think his defenses were that dominant considering the amount of talent we have.

I just hope this doesn't negatively influence our Juniors on defense. Hate to see them leave

I appreciate what Chavis has done for LSU while he has been here. If he does leave, and goes to A&M, I hope his defense gives up 500 yards and 50 points per game. Can't root for him when he is with a conference enemy.

He better leave his famous "3rd and Chavis" ways behind him because Summlin will not be nearly as patient with him!!!

Thanks for the great stat defenses, but good riddance to 3rd and Chavis... and even better riddance to 4th and Chavis.

Dinardo days??? Its closer than you think. Talent level in key positions definitely lacking...and its NOT improving. Friend told me early this year, "see ya in 2016". Dang, he may not be far off.

Will they take Miles, too?

Sumlin went after the guy that stopped Johnny football twice. Now he's going to have a defense to go with the offense he produces and likely land a few extra Louisiana recruits in the process. Back to Dinardo days again...
