Update:
LSU and Baton Rouge radio personality Derek Ponamsky says that Travonte Valentine has not been cleared to practice with LSU, contrary to a report by 247Sports.

Original:
247Sports is reporting that former LSU defensive tackle Travonte Valentine has rejoined the team and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
quote:

Former LSU defensive tackle Travonte Valentine is back with the Tigers and has been ruled eligible to play right away, as first-reported by 247Sports.

He’s now on LSU’s campus, and the elite JUCO product will practice immediately with the Tigers when camp begins this week.
Valentine, a highly recruited four-star prospect from Palm Bay, FL never played in a game at LSU due to ongoing eligibility issues. He also reportedly failed multiple drug tests and missed an excessive amount of class after enrolling at LSU.

He transferred to Arizona Western Junior College but more off the field issues landed him at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
