Multiple sources are reporting that LSU has hired former Detroit Lions running back coach Kyle Caskey as an offensive analyst.

Per Crescent City Sports:

Caskey began his coaching journey at UL-Monroe as a grad assistant under Charlie Weatherly (2004-’05) and continued at Indiana State (2006-’08), handling the recruiting duties. He then joined the Ole Miss staff in ’09 as an intern, working with the safeties and quality control.

Jumping to the NFL, Caskey worked with both the offensive line and running backs with the Detroit Lions the past two seasons and the Cincinnati Bengals the nine seasons prior.
