LSU offensive lineman Bo Bordelon had some high praise for new strength and conditioning coach Nick Savage when speaking with the media this week.

Savage, who followed Lane Kiffin to Baton Rouge this offseason, has quickly made an impression on LSU's players with his intensity and approach in the weight room.

Bordelon said Savage has brought a different standard to the program and offered a pretty memorable description of LSU's new strength coach.
quote:

"He's like a warlord," Bordelon said. "He pushes us. He's not afraid to call people out."
Bordelon added that Savage has helped establish a new level of accountability within the program as LSU prepares for the 2026 season.

Savage previously spent six seasons as Kiffin's strength and conditioning coach at Ole Miss before joining his staff at LSU.
