After the Tennessee loss, the days of coming to Tiger stadium and embarrassing us is over.

We have the talent to go undefeated. Do we have the on the field leadership, depth on the DLine and the DB’s to step up is the question. CBK wants to prove is is not just a perennial 10-2 coach. Except for TAM on the road, this is a favorable schedule. No turnovers against BAMA and we will beat them. It is a matter of pride.

I'm thinking 9-3. The offense will take a step back even if it's top 20 in the country. Defense has nowhere to go but up and if we go from bad to average we win 9 games. I think 8 wins is the floor and 10 the ceiling for a good but not great team. Happy to be proven wrong

This team reminds me of the 1969 team-
Hillman= Nussmeier -both started a bowl game the season before & won
Casanova = Perkins - they utilized Casanova perfectly & there’s hope Perkins will dominate
Just need that stingy defense of that ‘69 team. They were simply incredible. LSU’s ‘24 offense is by far superior .

I’m rooting for Nuss. He seems like a good guy, he works hard, he stuck around when he could have left…..and I don’t think he gets it done. He will win us a couple of games, and he will cost us a few. He is not Daniels, and he doesn’t have Nabers and Thomas. Will be happy to be proven wrong.

This season could be incredible with LSU possibly making a serious run at a NC, or it could dismal and our season could be over before the halfway mark. It comes down to QB play and the defense has to be greatly improved. If our defense can't stop anyone, I just don't think Nuss has the talent to carry us like Daniels did last year.

To win the NC you gotta play 17 games.
