Former LSU offensive lineman and New Orleans native Trai Turner was one of four NFL players on the cover of Sports Illustrated this week as part of their "Rising Stars" edition.
quote:

With the NFL regular season scheduled to begin on Thursday when the Carolina Panthers take on the Denver Broncos in a Super Bowl 50 rematch, SI's Greg Bedard writes how Panthers guard Trai Turner's passion for improvement could turn him into a future Hall of Famer.

Turner played at LSU from 2011-2013 and was selected by the Carolina Panthers 3rd round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He was named to the NFL Pro Bowl in 2015.

Another native that the Saints passed on. Y'all right up the road from these guys, can go and scout them anytime, and pass on them every year to draft "Projects" and then proceed to watch them light the NFL on fire. SMH...
