Notre Dame junior punter Jay Bramblett announced Monday that he is transferring to LSU.

The Tuscaloosa, Ala. native averaged 43.1 yards per punt last season with a long of 72 yards.

Bramblett is LSU's ninth player to transfer into the program this offseason and will reunite with Brian Kelly and special teams coordinator Brian Polian.

I hope the guy isn't coming here bc he knows BK is planning on a lot of field position games like old school football... I guess it doesn't matter at all as long as LSU gets the W

I sure hope specialists out of the portal isn’t a trend with CBK. Cool with this one, since it’s obviously his guy…but damn I hope to HS recruits going forward.

Coach Kelly is Trying to get the positive attitude all around. Winners are winners plain and simple under O most of the team was bitter negative.
