"First of all, I have strong relationships with those coaches in New Orleans," Jospeh said. "I've been recruiting New Orleans since 1999. I either grew up with those guys or mentored those guys along the way. I have spoken to all of those guys"
"It was never a meeting where a boycott was going to be discussed. Those guys are really in it for their kids. We don't know how that started or how it got out there. But it was never a meeting about that.
"A meeting the was going to place to educate each other on a recruiting game and also how to get some financial help to help their kids get to these camps. A lot of kids in New Orleans can afford $35-40 dollars to get to a camp."
"One negative thing got written out and it just carried on. But after talking to those guys at those respected high schools, it was never going to be that."
