Former LSU and current New York Jets safety Jamal Adams isn't the only former Tiger that has some interesting comments about chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).

On Monday, Adams said that Football field would be a perfect place to die when asked about the concerns about CTE and player safety.

Adam's teammate in New York and LSU alum Morris Claiborne echoed those some comments Tuesday saying that he "would die out there on that football field." Per NY Daily News:
quote:

“A lot of people don’t believe me when I say this,” Claiborne told the Daily News in a candid discussion about CTE and concussions. “But I would die out there on that football field. This is my life. This is what I do. I give it all. I would die out there.”

“If I was concussed that bad where they said you can’t go back out there or you’ll potentially lose your life, I gotta go,” he added. “I gotta go play. I gotta go play.”

No Mo. it taint wort da risk. I culd spel befo I pleyd foobaw. Look, these guys aren't stupid, they know the score and are risking time for the money. What they make in a short time is what most take 30 years to make. I'll trust in there judgement.

At that age, sports mean everything to these guys. They live and breathe it. I know they aren't making light of CTE. They are just saying that football is everything to them. I'm not offended, and I have brain tumors right now. Everyone has their own opinion and on this subject, there's not any bad intent by either of these players.

Prayers Lexman. Sometimes I think you are the only logical/rational person commenting on this website. And again, I agree with your take on this matter as well. Stay healthy my friend.
