LSU star pass rusher Arden Key has officially been ruled out for the Tigers season opener against BYU, according to head coach Ed Orgeron

Coach O addressed the media on Monday and said that Key will be replaced by either K'Lavon Chaisson, Ray Thorton, or Andre Anthony but an official decision has not been made yet.

Our best defender is out for the game, but I hear no panic from Tiger Fans! Ain't it great to have guys like Chaisson, Thornton, and Anthony to fall back on? That's quality depth! Let Arden fully heal and what a monster defensive end depth chart we will have! Awesome!

Hope for a recovery before we get further into the season. I like the decision for him to sit because it would suck for him to get hurt worse playing BYU or Chattanooga... Stay healthy for SEC play
