LSU will play Southern Miss this Saturday for the third time in school history. The series record between the two teams is 1-1.

The last meeting between LSU and Southern Miss happened in 1994 with the Golden Eagles winning 20-18 in Tiger Stadium.

LSU finished the season 4-7 (3-5 SEC) and head coach Curley Hallman was ultimately fired.

The only other meeting between the two schools was in 1951 in Baton Rouge. LSU won that game 13-0.

LSU will try to extend their streak of 46-straight non-conference wins in Tiger Stadium this Saturday.

The last time the Tigers lost a non-conference game at home was during Nick Saban's first year as head coach in 2000 against UAB. LSU lost the game 13-10.

"Crowd (or lack thereof)"

Looks more full than a lot of recent games after halftime.
