LSU head coach Ed Orgeron announced Monday that safety Ed Paris underwent knee surgery and will miss the rest of the season.

Orgeron said that LSU will try to get a medical redshirt for the senior.

Lawrence is a true sophomore, so he has to stay at least one more year.
