The LSU coaching staff extended an offer to Louisiana-Lafayette veteran cornerback Trey Amos on Monday night.

Amos entered the transfer portal on Monday and has already been offered by big-time college football programs like Alabama, Oklahoma, Miami, Florida, Oregon, and many others.

He has recorded 59 total tackles with 2.5 for loss, 14 defended passes, and one interception in three years with the Ragin’ Cajuns.

The former three-sport recruit from New Iberia, La., led his Catholic-New Iberia team to a State Championship in 2019.

You'd think Napier would have the inside track on this guy.

With those kind of offers I assume he must be legit. However, in his entire time at ULL he never made even Honorable Mention all- conference. Wonder why??
