Despite not playing this weekend, LSU moved up one spot to No. 8 in ESPN's latest SEC Power Rankings.

8. LSU: Ed Orgeron's Tigers were looking forward to the chance to maintain their momentum against a Florida team with a banged-up quarterback and decimated defensive line, but Hurricane Matthew, for now at least, postponed the game. Instead, the Tigers took the weekend off and should be fresh when they host Southern Miss on Saturday. -- David Ching

We were a 3 point favorite in Gainesville. So either these rankings are wrong, or vegas is... and Vegas puts money where its mouth is.

"5. Florida: The clamor to reschedule the missed game against LSU isn't going away, but for the time being, an extra Saturday off means an extra week of rest. Considering that quarterback Luke Del Rio wasn't 100 percent to begin with, that's probably a good thing." You don't say? That was the whole point of Florida wussing out of the LSU game last weekend.
