The 74,350 season tickets sold ties the school record which was set last year when Tiger Stadium was expanded to seat over 100,000. With the expansion to Tiger Stadium, LSU was able to offer nearly 6,000 additional season tickets. Prior to last year, LSU’s record for season ticket sales was 68,772, which was done three straight years from 2011-13.
LSU opens up the 2015 season on Saturday, Sept. 5 against McNeese State in Tiger Stadium.

How many of those new Season Tickets are "Corporate Purchased" by companies for their clients, employees, friends and relatives? That just means even more "Wine and Cheesers" in the stadium that were given tickets by the respective companies. More "Cheesers" that don't really care about LSU football that much. More "Newbies" that are there because they got the tickets that were handed out by their company. Hey, dey got nuttin ta do on a Saturday Night, so why not go see LSU play. They'll not make any noise and will leave at half-time. And, they're becoming more prevalent in the stadium with each passing season.........................
