LSU Football Players To Receive $3K More In Aid In 2015

According to NOLA.com and a report from the Chronicle.com, LSU football players on scholarship will receive $3,096 in additional aid starting this fall as part of an expanded scholarship package.

The increase raises the amount of scholarship aid to $27,288 from $24,192, the report said. That is an increase of 12.8 percent.

Five schools nationally have dollar increases of more than $5,000. Three are in the Southeastern Conference.
