Four-star LSU freshman defensive end Arden Key has been cleared to play by the NCAA, according to Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette who spoke with The Advocate:
quote:Key, a 6-5, 228-pound prospect from Atlanta, GA (Hapeville Charter) was rated the No. 4 weak-side defensive end in the country and the No. 9 overall player from the state of Georgia for the class of 2015.
Key, a 6-foot-5, 230-pounder from Georgia, is one of the most highly regarded recruits in a 2015 Tigers signing class ranked as high as No. 5 in the nation. Key was not cleared in time to begin summer school two weeks ago with the other signees, but he will report when fall camp begins, Bonnette said.
