LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. was named AP SEC Freshman of the year on Monday morning for his dominant performance this season. Per ABCNews.com:

Next year he will play both CB and WR. If he is as good at Receiver as he is on Defense all the talk will be about him being a throwback player. I heard on some sports show the other day he could be a future Heisman winner playing both ways.

With his quickness and ball skills he could become the greatest slot receiver I have ever seen.

Need his best game going forward. In my opinion he could have done alot better vs bama from what I saw he got burned on some big plays in the bama game. That kid really stepped up when needed to outside of that game.
