Five-star LSU athlete commit JaCoby Stevens from Murfreesboro, TN (Oakland HS) won the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Award on Monday. Per The DNJ.com:
quote:

"It's a great feeling," Stevens said. "It felt good to win. I didn't forget how I felt when I lost. The guys who didn't win - they're all great players."

Added Smith, "It's satisfying. I know all the hard work went to something. It was very relieving."

Stevens has racked up 61 tackles and nine interceptions while hauling in 34 passes for 689 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also has three touchdown returns for the Patriots (14-0), who play Whitehaven Saturday in the Class 6A BlueCross Bowl.

Stevens, a 6-2, 193-pound prospect, is rated the No. 1 safety in the country, according to 247Sports and Rivals.
